Employer’s Annual Employment Equity Report:

All businesses subject to federal employment equity law must file an annual report with the Minister or Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. This report, containing information in accordance with regulatory instructions, and drawn up in accordance with regulatory procedures, must be filed no later than June 1 of each year for the preceding calendar year. We can assist you with annual production of this mandatory report, or take responsibility of it in its entirety. In addition, we have a team of experts that will dedicate their focus on your organizational needs.

Audit – Compliance Process

We ensure that you meet the legislative requirements as part of the verification process for compliance with the EEA by the Canadian Human Rights Commission or, in the same way for businesses under provincial jurisdiction, by the Human Rights Commission of the individual and youth.

We can help you implement the nine elements for achieving employment equity compliance, as defined by the legislator:

  • Workforce self-identification survey
  • Workforce analysis
  • Study of employment systems, practices and policies
  • Employment Equity Plan (EE) including setting short and long term quantitative targets
  • Implementation and monitoring of the EA Action Plan
  • Periodic review of the EA Action Plan
  • Information to be provided to employees
  • Consultation and collaboration
  • EA files

When the Commission notifies your organization of an expected audit, we can assist you with the complete process. If the Commission finds you non-compliant, we can act as an expert to ensure that you meet the requirements step by step.
